After 30 years of working with heart and soul in education as an English and Dutch teacher, I decided in 2017 that it was time to focus fully on my psycho-energetic counselling practice in which I had been working part-time alongside my teaching job since 2000. However, there was a calling that had been gently tugging at me for a long time. It was time to respond to it, so I took a training course to become a BABS at Flexible Coaching. The classroom was exchanged for a space where it was no longer about teaching, but about life stuff: transformation, soul power and authenticity.

In my psycho-energetic counselling practice, I support people who long for inner truth, healing and connection. My words, once meant to teach, are now meant to to touch, to remember, to carry. Not as explanation, but as bedding. As a bridge between feeling and its translation, so that what is important can come to expression.

My work in practice is the most beautiful thing I can think of. It doesn't feel like work. And although more and more people found me through the books on soul love I've written, the energetic sessions I guide people in are definitely not just focused on soul love, but on getting people back in touch with themselves so they can feel the power and beauty within.

However, it took a while before I wanted to go public as a ceremonial speaker. My own clients gave me that backing, asking me to organise a tailor-made love ceremony for them. I did so wholeheartedly, but I also found that my passion extended further into various ceremonies where people want to dwell on important events. The first such opportunity soon presented itself.

Speaking at my father's funeral in 2020, I felt what words can really do: soften, connect, heal. This experience quietly set me further on my path as a ceremonial speaker.

Since then, I have been guiding ceremonies with heart and soul around love, goodbyes and life transitions. From silence, authenticity and soul consciousness.

Speaking in front of large groups is no stranger to me. Not only through teaching large groups of high school students, but I have also lectured on soul love for many years, as people read my book Dance of reunion had read, a book about the deeply transformative power of soul connections. People needed clarity and support. Those themes: love, loss, and awakening often form part of the ceremonies I lead.

For me, words have never been just words. They carry vibration, memory, healing.
They can connect what seems to be falling apart. And they can make visible what wants to be felt but could not yet be expressed.

As a ceremonial speaker, I am there to find just those words.
For important and essential life moments in love, in parting, in growth.
I work intuitively, carefully and with full attention. I listen not only to what is said, but also to what lives underneath. And from there I write.

My strength lies in translating feelings into language, so that you, or you together, are really seen and supported in what needs to be acknowledged or celebrated at that moment. This may be a love that is being sealed, a soul that is being released, or a life that is at a turning point. Inspiration and honouring people is my priority.

My mission is simple: to give words to what wants to be felt, creating space for recognition, healing and connection. In love, in challenges, in grief, in life.
