Through the encounter with your essential other, you are intensely and clearly confronted with the emotions and states of mind that demand the right amount of attention. The most common emotions in the awareness process that has started as a result of your encounter include fear, anger, guilt, shame, sadness but also the energy of lies, illusions, attachments and even feelings of grief and so much more. Woven through it all, you feel that intense love, the longing for each other and the need to melt together. Initially, there are quite a few expectations back and forth. These expectations are active if you do not know the meaning of the connection and if you are afraid of your truth or dare not speak your own truth.

The incredible interaction between you and the feeling of totally losing your grip causes you to connect with a higher source. You start praying, meditating or doing some form of sport to relax and clear your head. And that is exactly what is needed: to clear your head in order to feel deeply and gradually switch to the wisdom of your heart, giving yourself the love you did not give yourself before! However, your heart will only start speaking when you become more gentle with yourself and when you become still to be able to feel yourself and all that lives within you. Return to your innocence by allowing that silence. In doing so, you gradually quiet the activity of your ego.

A soul connection is always intense and never easy! It affects everything in your entire daily life, even at night it works through. What you go through is exhausting and just the mere fact that you actually know the other person feels it too, but doesn't act on it as you expect, makes it all the more difficult and incomprehensible, because surely love would overcome everything..... and love does, but differently than you think. The other person is overcome by fear, just like you, and his or her protective mechanism is also active.

Space is first provided for a form of love that is purged of all kinds of improper images and expectations, by feeling what you feel. The love that imposes all kinds of conditions gives way to a love that is more unconditional, because you realise that whatever happens and however painful it all feels, there is nothing the other person can do to dissolve the love you feel. There is nothing you can do to make the other person stop loving you, no matter how much they might try their best not to have to admit this to themselves, because then houses collapse. The energy finds its way and does its work.

You realise that you cannot end this connection, whatever happens, it never passes. In doing so, it doesn't matter if there is physical distance or physical contact in this dimension. It doesn't matter if there is a relationship with another person. The connection is a fact. You have met that essential other, that one person with whom you are connected beyond time and space in eternity. And the other has met you and is gradually learning to realise that there is no escape and that this cannot be replaced by any other feeling. However, the desire to feel good is so insistent that you start convincing yourself that this connection is not good for you. You convince yourself that it is better to cut down.

Innerly on a much deeper plane, you know and feel that it is true and that you are connected. This oneness is actually present in the dimensions beyond the reach and perception of the senses and now presents itself as two individual currents, a masculine and a feminine component. These two components contain the germ of each other's energy and the intention is to grow that germ of the other's original energy within yourself. This is the energy dance through which unity can experience itself. The dance of the reunion of polarities. You do not imagine anything, you do not fool yourself even though it often feels that way, because you get so little confirmation in your earthly reality. And if that confirmation does come now and then, it is of such short duration and disappears so quickly that it is as if it wasn't there, but you do feel it! Then you start doubting yourself. There are multiple realities! What is not visible in the densest and most compact energy dimension, such as earthly attunement, does not mean it is an illusion.

The love within this connection needs time to flow through the realities, bringing heaven and earth closer together. You can compare this to downloading or streaming a film you are dying to see. The fact that the film is not yet visible on your screen, while you have already been able to see the trailer and know of its existence, does not mean that the data, music and images of the original are not on their way to you so that you can connect with the colourful content of this story that is now unfolding and in which you and your essential other are the protagonists. The connection must be powerful enough and the channel pure and sufficiently open for it to flow well. A channel full of noise needs time for the connection to become pure and powerful enough for the energy to sink in. And you bring about that flow yourself by doing your inner work and preparing yourself with gentleness and a healthy portion of self-love and releasing that which covers your essence. So it's really not a matter of going on hold and counting the weeks, months and years until your essential other is ready. He/she has his/her own work to do indeed, but in the meantime, you too are called to shine as the beautiful soul you are. You just have to remember.
