A 1-hour session working on body areas you want to give more opening or attention to. A whole hour dedicated to a deeper experience of Yin postures, creating more relaxation and opening. Using Yin postures, massage and myofascial techniques, together we will bring more flow and balance to your body.

We start with a short meditation followed by some postures tailored to you that we will work with on a deep level. We conclude with a short relaxation meditation allowing everything to integrate.

What is different from a normal Yin class?

This involves 1-to-1 counselling. Everything is tailored to you. Through targeted physical guidance and myofascial props, I help you find more relaxation and gain more depth in your body, which will help release any blockages.

What is Yin Yoga?

Yin Yoga has many effects on both physical, psychological and energetic processes in your body, because stress, sadness and traumas fix themselves in the fascia (connective tissue). By regularly practising Yin Yoga where you hold a posture for 3 to 5 minutes without using muscle power to engage the connective tissue, you create more space in the body and traumas, fears and grief can be safely released.

Yin yoga is a combination of TCM ( traditional Chinese medicine) and Hatha postures that do not require alignment, every body is different so we work on what is right for your body. We work on the connective tissue or Fascia. Fascia can get very stuck due to our daily stress, traumas are also stored here. By doing Yin postures and getting more into the Yin mood, you can become more balanced and get more energy .Yin is "the calm in the storm". Beyond physical relaxation/discharge, we also work with mindfulness and your head and emotions are also calmed.

It is possible that a Yin session releases emotions. These are releases and are necessary to give your body and mind more space.
