When you are intensely touched by love, your heart opens up to give and receive this energy in abundance. However, this also activates the unconscious patterns that weigh down this love with fear and insecurity, causing you to run away from love and to be confronted with the unprocessed pieces in yourself, blocking the very giving and receiving that you are naturally capable of.

This is a well-known active pattern in soul love, a dynamic that causes a lot of confusion, disbelief and sadness. It raises a lot of doubt and you might wonder if the love was reciprocal then, and indeed, if it was love at all. If this pattern is active in your life and you recognise this experience, it can be very enlightening, but you would benefit from knowing how to deal with it and what purpose it serves, so that you can give yourself the space to free yourself from it and make sure it doesn't become a dealbreaker for you.

When love knocks on your door, your own inner stagnation and resistance is brought to the surface, even if you think you can allow love unimpeded and share unimpeded. You might be surprised at whatever is going on inside you. By activating what you don't even know is influencing in you, it seems that love is not just love. During the presentation I gave, which will probably be organised again in due course, insight was given into the origins of the patterns and how they affect your experience of love, but you were also given tools to balance this and be able to freely surrender to the most powerful and beautiful energy there is.
