Not having yet fulfilled your deepest heart's desire, while love is so intensely palpable, can trigger thoughts and feelings that are essentially fill-ins and assumptions of possible explanations of why things turn out the way they do, because your essential other is not giving you unequivocal or only half-answers, perhaps even excuses so that he/she does not have to really expose himself/herself.
The crux is that the essential other who is unavailable for the time being often does not know himself/herself why he/she is exhibiting certain behaviour or perhaps even makes statements that feel as if they have been souffled and cannot really be retrieved from memories later. Both components are under a powerful direction that monitors the process to the hilt. You think the only valid information you get is that which you perceive sensually, that which you see and hear. But therein lies precisely the clue, the only valid information can be found within yourself, when you can keep connecting with what you know deep inside.
The trap for many is believing in someone's potential that never, ever needs to become a reality. Believing in something that could be, but is not there viewed from an emptiness, a need, even invites you to get stuck in destructive forms of relationships or making someone into something that is projected from within yourself onto a potential candidate. None of this applies to the connection you feel. Connecting with your inner knowing is different from connecting with false hope.
Being unavailable for the time being has nothing to do with emotional incapacity or insensitivity or cruelty. It simply comes down to the fact that no steps in the process can be skipped. You can neither speed up anything nor slow down anything and no one is disadvantaged. You are not harmed even when you see the behaviour of your essential other as negation. Love cannot be denied, but it can be disguised by a development that is still allowed or even required to go through in order to embody the energy of connection and whose purpose, for now, is to complete all the loose ends that often involve others. Love watches over everyone involved, consciously or not. Therefore, learn to discern very carefully what you are dealing with before mentally or emotionally naming someone as your soul-love. This knowing does not come from your thoughts or feelings, it is rooted in your origins and makes itself known through experiences that you cannot logically explain, but which have profound effects, perhaps painful because of what you may leave behind in yourself, but transforming into something beautiful.
